JSC "Valmieras stikla šķiedra" has completely ended the purchase transaction for acquisition of the British company "P-D Interglas Technologies Ltd". The total purchase amount comprises 10.001 million euros (seven million lats).
The transaction funding was implemented with the aid of bank loan on the amount of 75% setting six years for the repayment period.
After becoming the subsidiary company of JSC "Valmieras stikla šķiedras", the British glass fibre processing company has obtained a new name - "Valmiera Glass UK Ltd". Along with acquisition of the new company JSC "Valmieras stikla šķiedra" will tap new markets and product segment by involving directly into provision of glass fibre product to aviation industry. In the long term it is planned to compete successfully, and event to refute other manufacturers` offer with higher quality products by ensuring the higher quality production.
